LeBron James owns the game of basketball.

LeBron playing basketball is like a pro golfer playing a course that he designed.

Talking about him is like talking about Michelangelo: you're not really talking about the man, but an infallible spirit that dominates his age and his art. To question the creator of such masterpieces is beyond futile: it is the beauty and perfection of the art itself that matters to the ages.

One good play-off game and he owns the place? Time will tell.

  2. One game in which he consistently drives to the lane for dunks and layups when the game is on the line, even though the rest of his team is standing around and everybody on Detroit knows he's doing it. One game where he scores all of his team's points in both overtimes to win a playoff game on the road. He showed what he's going to be capable of. If Cleveland management hadn't screwed up with Boozer (it's their fault, not Boozer's, that he wanted a huge guaranteed contract over a verbal promise), they'd be winning a title this year.

they may still win a title this year. likely they will play well and lose as happened vs the pistons last year. eventually when lebron's understanding of the game, his jump shot, and his ability consistently coelesce he will become the most dominant player in basketball history. already we have seen his ability to figure out the pistons between the struggles of the first two games to the fourth quarter domination of the next two.people act like this is the first time lebron had a good game, or three good games.

  4. Time is telling, that was game five of the Eastern Conference Finals. I would love to see him and Duncan play in the Finals.

  5. Maybe wait on this for a couple weeks. One game in the conference finals and it wasn't even to end the series?

I think he needs a ring before we give him ownership.
