Thurman Thomas as a cartoon? I'll watch

There's something about the Buffalo Bills being a fellow 0-4 Super Bowl team that makes me like them (Denver, what happened to you, man? You used to be cool). I'll support all their wacky endeavors.

According to an AP article in Sports Illustrated, Thurman Thomas's wife Patti has been creating and writing a cartoon, and Thomas would provide one of the voices. Thomas and his wife appear to be amusing, fun people. I'll watch their cartoon. Most kids' shows suck hard and make me think all children are utterly insane. Which I suppose they are, uncorrupted by rational society as they are. As Wordsworth writes in "Ode: Intimations of Immortality from Recollections of Early Childhood" (and with a title like that, you know it's good),

Not in entire forgetfulness,
And not in utter nakedness,
But trailing clouds of glory do we come
From God, who is our home:
Heaven lies about us in our infancy!
Shades of the prison-house begin to close
Upon the growing Boy,

You stay crazy kids; don't let society steal your glee.

Anyway, I'm ready to be amused by Patti Thomas's creative endeavors and Thurman Thomas's voice. And a blogger less sympathetic to the plight of an 0-4 Super Bowl competitor might make jokes about the cartoons losing their helmets, or the show getting blown out during sweeps week, or some such inanity. But I feel for you, Buffalo Bills fans, even though I hope the Vikings soon leave your team as the last 0-4 Super Bowl team.
