Ready for the Tarvaris Jackson era

This is fun. I know, it's just preseason, blah blah blah. But Tarvaris Jackson looks like a quarterback. He's made some nice connections to Troy Williamson and Bobby Wade. This could all turn out alright.

  1. 8/11, 83 yards. Again, only preseason, but he sure looked solid out there.

do you remember how brilliant ryan leaf was in preseason his first year? and his first two games? i remember, also, browning nagle was lights out early on. but i think your qb will turn out a little better.

  3. If Tarvaris Jackson is merely average, merely competent, the Vikings can win 10 games this year. This is why Jackson merely showing some degree of poise, understanding, and ability during the preseason heartens Viking fans. If the defense is as good as last year (and it's possible to improve), and the running game lives up to potential (which it can), then Jackson just needs to be mediocre and the Vikes can compete for the playoffs.
