Percy Harvin

At this point, I can conceive a scenario in which the Vikings go 14-2, cruise through Thunderdome to the Super Bowl, and then dominate for their first Super Bowl victory.

But don't take that too seriously; it's not all hoots and hollers.  I can also conceive a scenario in which the Vikings go 11-5, get into the playoffs as a Wild Card, and score a run of road upsets en route to their first Super Bowl victory.

  1. Agreed - Harvin was an obvious pick, but he should fit well into a pretty good offense, and the team was pretty close to a good playoff run last year to begin with.

Harvin isn't going to help the Vikings much in his rookie season....But keep dreaming of your 1st SuperBowl win! hahaha

  3. As a die-hard gator fan I saw something special in Percy Harvin from day one. I hope you get the same feeling when he takes the field in his first pre-season game. Just watch how he cuts and makes people miss. His other amazing talent is the ability to knock his tacklers back. He always seems to get an extra 3 or 4 yards once he has been tackled. The NFL is obviously tougher than college but these talents will hopefully help the Vikings win a few more games.

For all of the non-beleivers out there, Percy Harvin will show the professional level what he has to offer. I understand the dispute between college and professional levels BUT, as a true gator fan and a fan of the SEC, He played in the toughest and fastest conference in college football. You can't compare him to some of the other top receivers in the draft because they truly did not accomplish and face what he has. Also, he is faster than 3/4 of the pro's already and he has one of the best first steps out of anyone in the NFL. Just wait til this season starts and all the other teams will see what a mistake they made by not selecting him!!!
