I think the 2009 Vikings are the most talented team Favre has had around him since the 1997 Packers (don't let that remind you that Favre was in his prime 12 years ago). That might mean Favre can have an excellent season. If the team can build leads and win games with a strong defense and strong running game, it might mean Favre won't force as many turnovers. It also might mean that Favre won't have to throw as much, and he'll be much fresher and ready to perform at a high level in the playoffs. And Favre still has the arm strength, talent, and knowledge to make plays that help the Vikings win games.
