Hope to see you after the Chicago game.

  1. The Vikings are one and done unless the coaching staff motivates these players, getting them hot with effective game plans to win! I'm not that excited anymore, not gonna lie... this seems to be expected with the Vikes, but I hope to God i'm wrong

I feel like the Vikes are slowly collapsing, I wouldn't be surprised with 2 losses to end the season at this point. :(

The lines last week got completely dominated. I would expect a rebound even if on frozen ground.I think the run game will once again be the focus and they remain on track. Home against the giants should prove to be a good final. Good luck Vikes.

Its funny because Im now actually excited for the Vikings. Ever since the bye week, I havent been looking forward to games as much as I used to in the begining of the year. Now though, Im excited for them. I dont know if it is the playoffs creeping up, or a feeling that they are going to play good. We'll see

If Ap does not get 25 carries, Childress shoud quit.

  7. If you've noticed, though, Adrian Peterson has been sucking (whether it's his fault, the playcalling, or the line, I don't know). I would say forcing it to Peterson 25 times when he's getting three yards per rush is worse than not giving it to him enough.

I agree. What is wrong with Adrian. I used to hold my breath everytime he got the ball, now he doesn't have the breakaway move. I thought every year he would get better but he isn't playing as well on a much better offensive team. Are we missing Birk on the running plays? Do they call too many plays to the right side for adrian?

This game will tell us much about the Vikings' character. A difficult week to gauge where we're at because of the media and these "unnamed sources." When did the audible become a sure sign that a quarterback was in rebellion? This week.
What we need to return to is balance--not pound Peterson, not give up entirely on the run. But throwing and running. That's what we were doing earlier in the year and that's why we were successful. I think--I do--that if we can get back to a balance it'll be all right.

  10. And the other thing is that at Chicago, in late December, we probably need a strong running game more than in any other game this year. But it's a matter of having successful running, not just calling run plays no matter what happens.

let's all hope Peterson gets some decent blocking, something he hasn't been getting for a while

I'm not exactly stoked about the Vikings chances Monday night in Chicago. A cold night in the Windy City smells like a loss to me and the Bears have been a much better home team than a road team – beating Pittsburgh and playing Philly and Green Bay tough in losses (they did get smacked around by Arizona at home as well).

The situation is so dire I even decided to unretire from blogging. The Vikings are 1-2 since I stopped a month ago and I can be superstitious when it comes to the Vikings.
