I live in the Washington, D.C. area, and people have been talking about this game intensely for the last few days. What I find comical is how absolutely confident the Washington team's fans are; they are convinced the Vikes have no chance, that the game will not even be close. Remind them that, on top of all their other injuries, that they just lost Rocky Macintosh, and that they'll have a rookie LB who hasn't started a game trying to stop AD, and it doesn't even register. I could be wrong, but a lot of Washington fans are going to be very, very depressed tomorrow.

  2. Possibly the most important game of the week and it's at 01:30 (here in London any way) and I have to go to work tomorrow so I can't watch it all! The video is set to record it though, so come on Vikings! Give me an early christmas present...

  3. rev. vike,

I'm also from the DC area. From what I hear here in DC, and from what I read from MN, I think both sets of fans are a bit overconfident.

I'll am basically expecting things close with the home field the difference.

Both teams cannot survive too many errors, and both have the potential to make mistakes.

    But, I am a nervious nelly :-),

    Regards,

As a contributor to this blog, I am as nervous as all get out over this game. I sit here in my Sidney Rice jersey while having flashbacks of Gary Anderson in 1998. As a Vike fan you can't help but feel like the Vikes have got our hopes up and will soon dash them.

If Washington wins tonight they are in the driver's seat for the playoffs and of course if we win we are in. I won't breathe easy until this game is over.

It was inconsequential, but man did Dwight Smith jump high on that attempt.

That pass was horrible. I hate Fred Smoot!

This challenge is huge. Will they say there is "conclusive" evidence that the ball did not cross the plane? Man I hope so.

Man was I wrong. I'm not going to live this down for a long time. Thank God Christmas starts tomorrow night, or I would be in a funk for a looong time.
